About college:

                             Antarvedipalem Firka Development Trust (A.F.D.T.) was brain child of two great personalities Sri.Mupparthy Venkataratnam and Sri Rudraraju Ramalinga Raju, established in 1948 in malikipuram.In 1972 M.V.N.J.S. & R.V.R.Degree College was established with 35 students. The present number of students 1042 with full equipped laboratories, extensive experience faculty and most responsible secretary and management Sri. M.V.Satyanarayana Murhty garu.

About Applied Life Sciences Department:

                       In our college Dept of applied life sciences was established in 2008 with Biochemistry & biotechnology courses with help of Botany, Zoology and Chemistry departments. Now we have all equipment Laboratories for the U.G.and P.G. level practical Experiments.

Hall marks of our Department:

                       The department has well established labs for Molecular biology , Genetic engineering, Analytical Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology and Bioinformatics.
